Born in Bombay, India (now Mumbai), and later moving to New York City, Minnie Romanovich was inspired early on by the work of Walt Disney and the fairy tale art of Arthur Rackham. She earned a degree in Fine Arts from Sir J. J. School of Arts, the oldest art institution in Mumbai. She majored in Illustration and Art History and immediately gained the attention of public and private audiences requesting commissioned pieces. Her passion for artistic expression also led her to develop a keen interest in photography, thus expanding her creative horizon.
In addition to commissioned pieces, Minnie's work has been featured in various national and international publications, from magazine photo spreads to children's storybook illustrations. Her work depicts a life of world travel, cultural exploration, and childlike wonder.
Minnie now lives in Manhattan, with her husband Alexander Romanovich, and a cat named Arianna. In their spare time, they read, travel, and experiment with cooking. Along with her work in illustration and photography, she runs a personal styling service called Dressed to Skill.
Licensing of images is available for commerical and/or personal usage. Minnie is also available for commissions and freelance assignments. All enquiries can be directed to her at minnie@womaninthemoon.org.

Minnie is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI)
